VB's AGM A MAJOR SUCCESS!

This year's annual general meeting of the VB [The Dutch Association of Industry-Wide Pension Funds] was held at the Corpus Congress Centre in Oegstgeest on Thursday, 22 April 2010, with a festive touch as part of its 25th anniversary celebrations. By holding the event at the Corpus Congress Centre, where humankind takes centre stage, Taat & de Regt was able to contribute effectively towards the event's theme in which humankind also played a central role. The festive touch and the particularly appropriate location meant that the event's attendance was enormous.

The anniversary AGM focused on collective pensions. During the event, there were opportunities for sharing information, as well as for members to get to know one another and network. The afternoon session was packed with debates and finished off with a carrousel debate in which the room was divided into three camps that did verbal battle with one another based on three propositions.

In hindsight, it may be concluded that the event was a resounding success. It would seem as though the choice of ideal location can be of significant benefit to achieving your event's objectives.
